Dear Mr. Blair,
The standard dimensions of a single wood-framed slide is 7" X 4". The thickness and size of circular image will vary depending on manufacturer. The one that I have at hand is an American-made Knights of Pitheas lodge slide. - It is 13/32" thick, and the circular glass is 3 1/4" diameter. The image & cover glasses sit in a slight rebate, and are held in the opening by a wire ring & finishing nail. The wood is usually mahogany. On Mon, Feb 24, 2014 at 12:03 PM, David Blair <blair@telepathic-movie.org> wrote:
to complete a 3d model I'm preparing to output to a laser cutter,
I'd like to ask if anyone has at hand the standard dimensions of:
a single slide, or a multiple [e.g. x 3] slide
I'm looking for wooden frame height, width, and thickness, plus the diameter of the round glass slide.
Sorry for what is an obvious request... I haven't found the info online,
thanks,
David Blair
