Yes, there's the one-hour run in track and field. Admittedly, it's rarely run, but it does have a world record recognized by the IAAF. Should have thought of that. Cycling has an hour record, but it's not really a race. It's just individual cyclists trying to beat the previous record. Only one person is on the track, so I'm not sure it counts as a race. -- Dan Tilque |
