GOLQ Mailing List <list@golq.org>: Mar 02 09:17PM -0800 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #362 (GOLQ362) Welcome to GOLQ 362! All 27 songs in the quiz share a common characteristic/theme. The characteristic, once identified, should make solving some of the stumpers much easier. Due to the nature of the theme, the spread across the years is not evenly distributed, as in most quizzes. Likewise, in order to find enough eligible songs to meet the theme criteria, I had to include several songs that have been used many times previously. Still, I was able to adhere to the re-use guidelines, and was able to avoid duplicating exact lyrics from previous quizzes. Have fun, and let me know if you can identify the common thread among the songs! Tom Pillion <golq362@golq.org> =============================================================================== Blindly searching for lyrics on the Internet is not in the spirit of the GOLQs, and we disapprove of this practice. Entries are due by 5:00 p.m. EST (GMT-4) on Friday, March 31, 2017. E-mail early, because you can't be sure of how long it will take for your message to reach GOLQ World Headquarters. DO NOT POST your answers to any newsgroups, discussion forums, etc. E-mail your entry to <golq362@golq.org>. By using this address, you will be able to determine whether your entry has been received by viewing the GOLQ entry log at <http://golq.org/cgi-bin/golqentry.cgi>.
