FRONTSTRETCH TRIVIA:
Q: The 2007 Sharp Aquos 500 at then-California Speedway featured one of the hardest hits of Ricky Rudd's Cup career. What happened?

Monday's Answer:
Monday's Answer:
Q: The 2001 Marlboro 500 was shortened to a distance of 220 laps (440 miles). Why was this done?
A: There was rain in the morning at California Speedway that day. As a result, the entire schedule was pushed back. When ESPN came on-air from California Speedway, they were prepping to start the Indy Lights race, which aired live. Then, they got ready for the CART race. Due to the late start and cloudy skies, the race ran up against darkness, hence why it was shortened.
