That's my fault, I think. My computer is old enough that the clock chip
battery is worn out. Usually the computer reverts to 2005-12-30 20:04 or
thereabouts.[1] When that happens, there's no problem, because the
difference in dates between my computer and my ISP is too great and it
complains when I open my mail/news program.

But other times, it just doesn't advance the time when the computer is
off, so it's less than a day behind and there's no complaint. If I don't
notice it, I'll post with the wrong time on my articles and make them
look like they're older than they are. Your news software apparently
sorts articles by date rather than by which articles are followups to
which, so mine came up first.

Now that I think about it, there's a file somewhere where I could put a
date command to prompt me to set it when I log in, but I'm not sure
which one.

[1] Why that time, I'm not sure. It could be it's when the chip was made
or possibly when the software on the chip was compiled.

Thanks. The next RQ probably won't go up until next week due to American
Thanksgiving.
