Erik Jones Quickest in Lone Truck Series Practice at Iowa
It doesn't seem to matter where the Camping World Truck Series is racing each week. Wherever they are, Erik Jones is bound to be up near the top of the speed charts. Iowa Speedway is no exception as the 19-year old was quickest once again. Debutant teammate Christopher Bell was second quickest, followed by John Hunter Nemechek, Spencer Gallagher and Cameron Hayley. Read more

FRONTSTRETCH TRIVIA:
Q: Today, Paul Menard is a steady, if unspectacular presence in the Sprint Cup Series. In 2003, Menard was just getting started in the then-Busch Series. At Chicagoland, he had qualified well, but barely got underway before his day came to an end. What happened?

Thursday's Answer:
Thursday's Answer:
Q: The Red Bull Ring, host of this weekend's Grand Prix of Austria, is built on the site of the former Österrichring, an ultra-fast track that Formula One last raced on in 1987. That last race had serious trouble getting started. Why?
A: The pit straight at the Österrichring was rather narrow, making it possible for people to come together rather easily. On the first attempt to start, Martin Brundle crashed his Zakspeed, sweeping up the Tyrrell's of Dr. Jonathan Palmer and Philippe Streiff, along with Piercarlo Ghinzani's Ligier. Streiff was out due to Tyrrell only being allowed one spare car.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
