Digest for rec.games.trivia@googlegroups.com - 3 updates in 2 topics

Orlando Quattro <oquattro@magma.ca>: Apr 15 12:22AM -0400

Rare Entries Contest OQ-01 is now closed, and thanks to all who entered.

As a first attempt at this genre I deliberately tried to keep the
questions reasonably straightforward. Nevertheless, even after
correcting the wording for question 1, the entrants demonstrated that I
had been insufficiently careful in my wording for at least two other
questions, and several made hay with this.

I will now undertake the scoring and post the results as soon as may be,
complete with explanations for any decisions that I make that may seem
contentious.

The ultimate aim is to prevent cancer in the cervix, but the question
was on the virus that causes this form of cancer. I can only make
out fragments of the name, but I think of it, I think there is an
abbreviation HPV, so I try and see if I will get away with it.
