FRONTSTRETCH TRIVIA:

Q: In 1981, Geoff Bodine had a rather bizarre incident in the Daytona 500, sliding into the infield in turn 4.  What did Bodine hit that ultimately stopped his No. 23 Pontiac Grand Prix?
Check back next Monday for the answer, here in the Frontstretch Newsletter!

Last Monday's Answer:

Q:  In 1998, the Western Division of the Star Mazda Series held a race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Name the notable actor that finished third in that race.

A:  This may come as a surprise to you, but it was Alfonso Ribeiro, the most recent champion of Dancing With The Stars and best known for portraying Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, who picked up the podium finish.  Ribeiro is also a two-time winner of the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race held as part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend, which resulted in a rule change forcing celebrities that win overall to compete the next year with the professionals.
