Lartigue: Bibi " Exhibition - Photographer Gallery

Yesterday Ian and I were at the Photographers Gallery in London on business and had the opportunity to view the "Jacques Henri Lartigue: Bibi " Exhibition before its opening today. It is wonderful - images full of life and movement with interesting perspective and viewpoint. It has a clear personal narrative, of the journey from first love to sad dissolution. Well worth a visit it is open until 6.00 pm on Monday not sure about the rest of the week but if you are going to the Collecting Photography Course - The Photographers' Gallery in the evening - Mon 14 October you could arrive early.

It is important to be aware that the majority of the images are not vintage prints. This may not be a problem if one is not interested in how the material qualities of the medium contribute towards our appreciation, interpretation and response to the narrative.
