Publications update for new members

Dear List members,

Recently the ‘Early Visual Media Archaeology’ group welcomed a variety of new specialized members.

All current 620 members are invited to use the group as an information source searching for answers related to early media history.

Announcement about new books in our fields are most welcome too.

Currently several hundreds of media related books are announced on the various thematic publication pages of Early Visual Media.

New (as well as older) members are invited to browse the existing book announcement pages.

Thematic bookpages:

·         Pre-film - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_books_pre-film.html

·         Early film - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_books_cinema.html

·         Vintage photography - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_books_photo.html

·         Popular arts - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_books_popular-arts.html

·         Academic journals - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_journals.html

·         Blu-ray & DVD - http://www.visual-media.eu/publications_media-used.html

·         Relplica optical toys - http://www.visual-media.eu/new-replica-optical.toys.html

If members want their book to be announced on the website I would welcome one review copy, preferably a hardcover version if available.

Early Visual Media does not sell books but guides (via hyperlinks) potential buyers and target groups to the publisher where they can order a title first hand.

Hope you will enjoy, both, the Early Visual Media website and the accompanying Early Visual Media GOOGLE group …

SOON
, more news from the ‘Library in Hell’ … in due course.

(Especially of interest to the stereo photo collector and researcher)

Read a short introduction on the Visual Media website:

Belgian based members and tourists can try to expand their media collection by visiting the quality collectors fair OTTO & OTTO in Ghent.

Please, spread the news, home & abroad.

Best wishes,
