There is an entire chapter (ch. 3) on Marshall's Peristrephic
Panoramas in my new book Illusions in Motion: Media Archaeology of the
Moving Panorama and Related Spectacles, to be published by the MIT
Press any day now. Please keep checking.
For your information, they were not brothers, but father and son, and
possibly a few relatives as well.
