If Carla Ferrrigno is a correct answer and is Lou Ferrrigno's wife, then
I will score this as almost correct.

Just curious about the rationale. Is it because I misspelled Ferrigno or
because I admitted my uncertainty about her given name?

I was talking about Ferrrigno, not Ferrigno.

No, providing a given name is (unless otherwise specified) just an
opportunity to make yourself wrong. However, surnames are required and
you didn't give one.

Now that the current regular season is complete, we know which
rounds were the easiest and hardest ones of the entire original
season. I will report on the 5 easiest and 5 hardest, excluding
current events (in fact none were in either category) and audio.

The following ones have already been played here; the rest are
yet to come.

>> been doing something useful with their time. Anyway, here are
>> 10 questions about things that are pointedly Canadian.

> ...this was the easiest round in the original game.

And the third-easiest in the entire season.

>> Well, one of the Lit rounds this week, anyway.

>> In its original form this was the easiest round in the game, but
>> I've edited it to increase the difficulty just a bit...

In its original form it was the fifth-easiest round of the season.

>> the WFL, and World Team Tennis. Invariably, he was the only one
>> who didn't lose money. Here's a round on his legacy.

> This was the hardest round in the original game.

And the hardest in the entire season, excluding an audio round.

>> For each writer, just tell us what either one of the two initials
>> stands for.

> This was the hardest round in the original game.

And the second-hardest in the season, excluding an audio round.

>> In all cases, give the age of the person as of the indicated date,
>> within 2 years.

> This was the hardest round in the original game.

And the third-hardest in the season, excluding an audio round.

>> * Game 1, Round 8 - Baseball - Not the Major Leagues

In the original game this was the second-hardest round, but it was
also the fourth-hardest in the season, excluding two audio rounds.

This set of current-events rounds is running concurrently with
Game 6, both Rounds 7-8 (with only hours remaining to answer) and
Rounds 9-10. I presume that in two weeks I will be receiving and
posting the current-events questions from the Final, completing the
season's current-events game for QFTCI purposes, but if they aren't
made available to me then this set will have completed the game.

These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on the dates
indicated below, and should be interpreted accordingly. If any
answers have changed due to newer news, you are still expected to
give the answers that were correct on those dates.

On each question you may give up to two answers, but if you give
both a right answer and a wrong answer, there is a small penalty.
Please post all your answers in a single followup to the newsgroup,
based only on your own knowledge. (In your answer posting, quote
the questions and place your answer below each one.) I will reveal
the correct answers in about 3 days.

All questions were written by members of Unnatural Axxxe, and are
used here by permission, but have been reformatted and may have
been retyped and/or edited by me. For further information see
my companion posting on "Questions from the Canadian Inquisition
(QFTCI*)".

In the by-elections that come into mind, the Conservatives lost two
seats - and in both to the person who had resigned from the seat.
But that country is not particularly federal.
